Spencer von Schwedt is a delightful, 2-3 year old, smaller-sized Shepherd mix. This cutie with the tan socks is fun-sized and always ready for an adventure. Spencer looks forward to his walks (yes, as in more than once daily, please!). He starts off instantly at a good pace and can get get ahead of you, but he is also sweet-natured and mindful of correction. His pep isn’t just about pounding the pavement; he’s very active at home and seeks interaction and play. He enjoys the company of other dogs -- perhaps a little too much. Whether he’s in a pack walk or in a playgroup, he is always on the lookout for a partner to play with. This can be too much for some more serious or laid-back canines, so he is best matched with a tolerant dog who enjoys romping but doesn’t get too rough and tumble. A happy boy like Spencer seems enthusiastic about everything; however, what he’s most looking forward to is an active home with no cats but maybe with someone looking for a jogging buddy.
